Privacy Policy

Draft for review

Effective date: November 1, 2026

Last updated: November 1, 2026

This policy explains how Worthy Play LLC, a Wyoming limited liability company [TODO: confirm the Wyoming filing ID] ("Worthy Play", "we" or "us"), handles information in the games we publish and on this website, worthyedge.com. Our games appear in app stores under the developer name [TODO: exact store developer name].

This policy covers only games published by Worthy Play LLC, plus this website. It doesn't cover games published by anyone else. If a new game or feature handles information in a way this policy doesn't describe, we'll update this policy before it's released.

The short version

  • Our games don't collect personal information. They have no accounts, no ads, no analytics and no tracking. [TODO: Business and Legal to resolve this wording for Toss-Up, which collects quizzer names and birthdates.]
  • Game progress and settings are saved on your device, and may be included in your own Google account backup or a device-to-device transfer. We never access those copies.
  • We don't sell personal information, we don't use it for ads, and we don't build profiles of children.
  • Before any game collects personal information, we'll update this policy, and for children we'll notify parents directly and get their consent first.

Information our games collect

Our published games contain no ads, advertising IDs, analytics or crash-reporting tools. They don't collect names, email addresses, locations, photos, contacts, device identifiers or any other personal information, and nothing is sent to us. Game progress, rewards earned in the game and settings are saved on the device, and may be included in the player's own Google account backup or a device-to-device transfer (see "Android backup" below). We never access those copies. Some games use device features such as the compass or location only on the device to make the game work; that information is never sent to us or stored by us. [TODO: Business and Legal to confirm this matches every published game, including Toss-Up.]

Android backup

Our Android games may allow Android's built-in backup. If backup is turned on for your device, Android may copy a game's progress and settings to your own Google account, or move them when you set up a new device, so they can be restored. That copy is handled by Google under Google's privacy policy. We never see or access it.

Children's privacy

We do not collect personal information from children through our games. That means we don't collect a child's name, home or email address, phone number, username, photos, videos or voice recordings, location, device or advertising identifiers, or any persistent identifier used to recognize a child over time. Because we collect none, none is sold, shared, or used for advertising. [TODO: Business and Legal to resolve this wording for Toss-Up.]

If a game ever needs personal information from a child, we will give parents direct notice of what we collect and why, and get verifiable parental consent before any collection, as the U.S. Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA) requires. We won't require a child to provide more information than is reasonably needed to take part. Parents will be able to review their child's information, have it deleted, and refuse further collection or use at any time.

Retention. We keep children's personal information only as long as needed for the purpose it was collected, and then delete it securely.

Who receives it. We disclose no children's personal information to any third party. If that ever changes, we'll name each recipient, or category of recipient, here and in our notice to parents before it happens.

Emails from children. If a child emails us, we use the email address only to reply once, and then delete the message and the address. If you believe a child has sent us personal information, contact us at info@worthyedge.com and we'll delete it.

Ads, analytics and tracking

Our games and this website don't show ads, don't use advertising IDs, and don't use analytics or tracking tools. We don't track you across other apps or websites.

This website

This site doesn't ask you to sign up, has no forms, and doesn't use analytics or ad trackers. Its fonts are hosted on the site itself, so no third party is contacted when you visit.

Hosting. This site is hosted by IONOS Inc., which acts as our service provider. Its web servers log the page requested, the referring page, browser and device type, operating system and time of access. Your IP address is anonymized when it's collected. IONOS uses these logs to keep the site secure and stable and deletes them after 8 weeks. [TODO: owner to confirm IONOS SiteAnalytics is off.]

Cookies. Neither we nor our host set cookies on this site.

Theme setting. If you switch between the light and dark themes, your browser stores that choice locally on your device (local storage). It isn't sent to us. Because it is strictly necessary to provide a feature you asked for, it doesn't need consent under the UK Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations (PECR) or the EU ePrivacy Directive.

Email. If you email us, we use your message and email address only to reply to you, and keep them for 12 months after our last reply. [TODO: owner to confirm.]

UK and EU visitors

If you are in the United Kingdom or the European Union, Worthy Play LLC is the controller of the limited personal information described above (website server logs and emails you send us).

Our legal basis is our legitimate interests in running a secure website and answering messages you send us.

You have the right to ask for access to your personal information, to have it corrected or erased, to restrict or object to how we use it, and to receive it in a portable format. To use these rights, contact us using the details below.

You also have the right to complain to the UK Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) or to the data protection authority where you live, work or think a breach happened.

Worthy Play LLC is based in the United States, and this website and our services are hosted in the United States. When you visit or contact us from the UK or EU, your information goes directly to us in the United States.

Your choices

Clearing a game's data in your device settings, or uninstalling the game, removes its progress from the device. A copy may remain in your own Google account backup and come back if you reinstall the game. To delete that copy, open your device's Settings, go to Google and then Backup (the exact path varies by device), and delete the backup or turn off backup. You can also manage backups in your Google account.

Parents can contact us with any question or request about their child's information.

Changes to this policy

If we change how our games or this website handle information, we'll update this page and the dates at the top before the change takes effect. If a change means a game would collect personal information from children, we'll notify parents directly and get their verifiable consent first.
